The World War II Veterans Memorial is now in the Riverside Cemetery Annex on the east side of Route 27, Wiscasset Road after being moved in 2019 from the old Pittston School Street location.

The Riverside Cemetery Association is having a dedication ceremony for the World War II Memorial on June 13, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.  at the Riverside Cemetery Annex on Route 27.

The Association has been discussing adding future memorials for Veterans, Firemen, EMT’s or Police as the funds become available.  We would like to know how many eligible Pittston Residents who have lived in Pittston at least two years would be on future memorials.

If you have a relative or friend or are a veteran, Fireman, EMT, or policeman yourself, names can be submitted online or forms can be found at the Pittston Town Office and at Tobey’s Car Lot on Route 27, Pittston, Maine.
