Homestead exemption------- do you have yours yet?

HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION....... DO YOU HAVE YOURS???

If you can answer yes to all three of the questions below, you qualify for the Homestead Exemption.

1) I am a legal resident of the State of Maine.

2) I have owned a homestead property in Maine for at least the past 12 months.

3) I declare this homestead is my permanent place of residence and the only property for which I have claimed a homestead exemption.

Have you applied for your Homestead Exemption yet? If you haven’t applied for the homestead exemption you have until April 1, 2019 to apply.  You only need to apply one time.
